Shawano, Keep it Beautiful

Going for a walk on a beautiful day is no time to discover garbage tossed along our cottage roads.

Recently a huge tarp (red, blue, grey) was discovered left in between some shrubs in the Skeen Road/Lake of Islands Road. Garbage, several garbage bags of paper plates, tins, bottles, etc. were picked up this week in the area of Lake of Islands Road and Skeen Road.

Rarely, very rarely will someone drive into Shawano and toss their garbage, so, unfortunately some of us have neighbours who can’t seen to put their garbage where it belongs.

Every piece of garbage, small or large, along our Shawano roads is inconsiderate and distasteful.

If you don’t toss it, someone else won’t have to look at it and pick it up.
