First Annual Cottage Closing 

Food Drive to support Tri-Township Food Basket

At the fabulous suggestion of one or our Shawano community members, the SRI is pleased to announce the first annual Cottage Closing Food Drive.  A wonderful and simple way to promote the goodwill of our Shawano community.

If you are closing your cottage for the winter OR closing for a longer period of time, please consider donating unopened and non-perishable items and toiletries toward this cause.  Cottage closing time is ideal to consider doing so –  you don’t have to carry it all back home.  When you don’t live here year around, you may not be aware of the level of need within the cottage community which you share.  A need which is growing exponentially. 

Donated items need to be unopened, nonperishable and unexpired.  Unopened toiletries are welcomed, too.

Items can be dropped off at the Matthewman residence at 544 Jennison Road on Thanksgiving weekend.  Boxes will be set up by the garage or inside the garage, weather dependent.
