2020 AGM – New Date & Format

 As you know this has definitely been a strange year with the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic.  We have been unable to be with our families and friends and business have struggled with a new way of operating.  Obviously under the current restrictions we can not have our normal in person AGM on the civic holiday weekend at the beginning of August.  Your board has decided to have an electronic AGM, hosted on the FOCA Zoom platform. This is a good benefit that FOCA is offering Lake Associations, however only weekdays are possible.  The SRI, AGM is scheduled for August 6th at 1:00 p.m.  You will receive in the next few days the AGM agenda and an electronic proxy form to assign your voting to another member who can attend.  Closer to August 6th we will all receive the link from FOCA to sign into the meeting.
Your board realizes that this format may not be ideal for some, however under the current restrictions it is the best case scenario for the AGM to take place.  Should the projected level 3 restrictions allow meetings with the number of people we historically get at the AGM the board will review to see if we feel it is safe to revert to a physical meeting.
